Mel Stein has been a sports lawyer for some thirty years representing both high profile players, clubs and regulatory bodies. He is the Secretary of The Association of Football Agents and through Clintons, the law firm where he is a consultant, he has been at the forefront of the opposition to the current FA Agents Regulations.

He was the founder of the Post Graduate Certificate of Sports Law course at King's College London. He is the author of 18 books including " How to Succeed as a Sports Agent " and " Football Babylon" He is a regular contributor to the BBC, Sky Sports and many national newspapers as well as being much in demand as a speaker at sports law conferences and as an expert witness in sports related disputes.
