Carl Steele is an Associate at Ashfords and advises on contentious and non-contentious IP issues in sports. His recent work includes acting for Premier Rugby Limited in connection with the drafting and policing of the salary cap currently in place for all Premiership Rugby Union clubs and acting for Charlton Athletic FC in connection with its recent club and kit sponsorship arrangements. Carl has also advised on the drafting of sponsorship arrangements in Formula 1 and major sporting events such as the African Nations’ Cup. |
