Before studying law at Warwick University, Garry worked as a computer programmer and systems analyst. He trained at Bevan Ashford in the West Country before moving to another firm in 1998 to develop and promote their Intellectual Property sector. Garry rejoined Bevan Ashford in December 2001.
Garry advises clients ranging from international, national and local businesses both private and public on protecting and exploiting their intellectual property rights including patent, trademark, database rights, copyright and know-how. He also advises clients on data protection matters and has set up a dedicated data protection audit and compliance service.
