Hefin Rees Ely Place Chambers
Hefin Rees was called to the Bar in 1992 and practises from Ely Place Chambers in London. He has been appointed a Recorder and sits in civil cases. Hefin's practice includes high value clinical negligence claims. He is currently representing Ellie Challis who is a quadruple amputee in a multi-million pound claim against an NHS Trust for failure to diagnose meningitis; and is also representing the family of a woman who died after giving birth at Northwick Park Hospital following systemic failures which are linked to the death of a further 10 woman in the previous year at that hospital. Hefin represents the Personal Injuries Bar Association on The Bar Council and is an Advocacy Trainer for The Inner Temple.
